Background

Hey there! I’m Medha.

I like learning how things work, then wondering why they work the way they do. That has taken me from code and data into design, music, culture, technology, and the spaces where people experience all of them.

How I got here

I started in engineering because I wanted to know how things worked underneath, and I stayed because it turned out the interesting part was never the machine. It was the people the machine was for.

The work that made that click was anything where I could see both sides at once: the numbers during the week, and the people those numbers turned out to be. Ticket sales, attendance, check-ins, revenue. Then the same figures showing up as a real room full of real people. A pricing decision could change how quickly something sold. A better system could change what anyone knew about the audience at all. Something that felt chaotic up close started to look like a system from the other side.

I liked both views. I still do.

What I have been building

Most of my work has been for people who had an audience and nothing to hold it: an events brand growing fast on Instagram with nowhere to send anyone, a realtor with nineteen years of closings and no web presence, a DJ with a decade of bookings that lived in DMs. I built the sites, the systems underneath them, and the analytics that say whether any of it worked.

Lately that has meant agents: pipelines that produce a week of content from one command, tag a footage archive so an editor can search it instead of watching it, and check nightly whether a client shows up in Google and in AI assistants. The common thread is taking something tedious and structural and making it run without anyone remembering to start it.

I also keep finding myself wanting to build the thing underneath the thing. Not just the website, but the database. Not just the dashboard, but the system collecting the data. Not just the event, but the technology that makes the next one easier to understand.

Where I am pointed

I want to work where culture and measurement meet: sports, music, live events, entertainment. The places where what moves an audience is a real question with a real answer, and where somebody has to be fluent in both the feeling and the figures.

Right now, that probably looks like data analytics, business intelligence or a data-and-product role inside a sports or entertainment organization. I want to work on questions about audiences, growth, revenue and experience, but I also want to be close enough to the product or event to actually do something with what the data says.

Longer term, I keep coming back to creative technology: building the systems, software and experiences that sit between data, technology, art and culture. I am not sure what the job title for that is yet. I am more interested in finding the right problems.

Things I think about that are not work

Music
I keep coming back to music that feels tied to a place and a time. Atlanta rap, especially the 2015–2018 era, is a big part of that: Young Thug, Lil Keed, Uzi, Carti. I am interested in what happens when music becomes more than something you listen to. It becomes a timestamp. A room, a summer, a person, a version of yourself you can get back to for three minutes.
Spaces
I think about spatial design more than I expected to. How a room decides what happens in it before anyone speaks. Ceiling height, sightlines, where the light falls, how you are made to move through a place and where you are allowed to stop. A venue can make ten thousand strangers feel briefly like one thing, and a badly shaped room can keep fifty people from ever becoming a crowd. The design is doing that, not the occasion. I am not going to pretend I have a canon of favorite buildings, but I keep circling the question underneath it: why does one place make you want to stay and another make you want to leave, and how much of that was decided by someone on purpose?
Design
I like things that feel considered all the way through. Interfaces, websites, posters, objects, motion, typography. I am especially interested in the point where something can be technically complicated underneath and still feel simple when you touch it. More recently I have been drawn toward creative technology and generative work: TouchDesigner, Blender, data visualization, live visuals and installations. I like the idea that code can be material.
Curiosity
Outside of technical work, I have been trying to become less specialized in what I know. Art, history, philosophy, politics, culture. I like learning the context behind things I already find interesting, and then finding out that the context is usually much stranger than I expected.
Nightlife
I like the temporary nature of it. A room full of people who may never meet again, all responding to the same song, light or moment. I am interested in the social physics of it: who moves where, what makes people stay, how a crowd changes the energy of a room, why some nights become stories people keep telling. Maybe that is why I ended up measuring it, too.

I’m less interested in having a perfectly defined lane than I am in having interesting things to make, questions worth chasing, and people worth making them with. If you have one of those, please reach out.
